About Us
Luso Living Lda, is a company that was established in Portugal in 2010 and provides services for Condominium Administration, Property Management, Rental Services, Garden & Pool Maintenance and Cleaning Services. This also extends to Airport Transfers , Car Hire & Golf Reservations via our website www.lusoliving.com.
While contracting our services we will require some of your personal information in order to comply with Portuguese legislation that governs Condominium Administration (Codigo Civil) & Local Letting (Alojamento Local) as detailed below.
We are committed to respecting the privacy of all clients and visitors to our site in compliance with EU- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 within the European Economic Area (EEA). No contact data is ever given, sold or exchanged with third parties for marketing purposes and all staff are trained on the importance of data protection.
Condominium Administration
The information we hold may include your full name, home address, home telephone number, mobile telephone number, email address and fiscal number and property title documentation.
All documentation including owners name, attributed permillage, condominium fees due per unit and amounts in arrears or credit are available for consultation by any legal title holder of a property in the Condominium and will be recorded in the AGM minutes that is distributed to all proprietors of the Condominium.
Information will be kept on file of the Administration for the life of the Condominium as per the Portuguese Civil Code. Once an owner sells their property and are no longer a legal title holder of a property within the Condominium contact details may be removed on request although payment transaction and correspondence will be retained.
If you are a Property Management or Rental Property Owner
Personal information data is requested from you when you interact with us in person, through correspondence, by phone, by email, or through our website. The information we hold may include your full name, home address, home telephone number, mobile telephone number, email address , fiscal number and property documentation such as insurance policies , utility bills and bank account details.
If Renting out we may also hold fiscal representative information including the following details of your guests such as full name, Town & Country of residence, travel dates & amounts paid.
It is important that if taking your own bookings you inform your guests that their information will be shared with Luso Living Lda and other third parties such as SEF Border Control and the Portuguese Tax Office.
Your contact information will also be used for sending you our monthly report if you have opted-in for this service.
If you book accommodation through Luso Living
By interacting with us you understand that you are providing personal data to us voluntarily and there is a legitimate reason to retain this information for the period required to provide the requested services including making your booking.
Data including your full name, email, mobile number, full passport details including your place and date of birth, town of residence and bank account details will be required to comply with Portuguese Local Letting registration. Your personal data will be used exclusively for making the respective reservation and refund of security deposit payments.
If booking accommodation through a holiday portal both we and the associated website will receive your request. This is to enable us to deal with the booking and the associate website control how many requests their site is producing and understand the type of request are being made. They may also use your contact information to get consent to send you Newsletters or offer you their products. Please take the time to read their Privacy Policy to understand how they handle your personal data.
When you return home, we may ask you for your opinion on the services that were provided to you, which will allow us to improve our services.
Your data will not be transmitted to third parties outside of our obligation to comply with local letting legislation as itemized below :
- · SEF Border Control (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras) arrival and departure dates into and from Portugal including full passport details.
- · Fiscal bodies for the issue of official receipt to include your full name, travel dates, town of residence and amount paid for accommodation.
We use service providers to process personal data on our behalf which we can only access via a secure log in. These service providers are bound by confidentiality clauses and are not allowed to use your personal data for other purposes.
We use payment providers to process your booking payment that are certified for these transactions. These payment providers are bound by confidentiality clauses and are not allowed to use your personal data for other purposes.
Additional Services
- Airport Transfers & Car Hire where these services have been requested information including your name, travel dates and contact phone number will be shared in to make reservations.
- Golf Reservations if booking green fees through the website you will be redirected to an associate website where bookings are made through PAG Serviços Golfs Lda (PAGS) in Portugal with Alvará Agência de Viagens No: 1001/1999, who take great care with the selection of suppliers and the standard of the service provided. All payments are made to PAG Serviços Golfs Lda who will meet you on arrival and give you your vouchers.
